What they could see
yourbusiness.com
A finished website with the same reviews and photos

You are on Google, you have the reviews, the phone rings. But when a homeowner is comparing three quotes, two of those companies have websites and one has a map pin. Property managers and general contractors ask for a website before they will put you on a vendor list. And the reviews you earned over a decade live on a page you do not own.

A website will not make the phone ring by itself. What it does is keep you from getting screened out by people who were already going to call someone.

How it works

Backwards, on purpose.

Most web companies want a deposit, a discovery call, and six weeks before you see anything. That is a bad fit for someone running trucks. Everything needed to build your site is already public, so we built it first.

  1. 01

    We build it

Your reviews, photos, hours, services, and service area come off your Google Business Profile. We put them into a real site. You do nothing, and you do not know it is happening.

  2. 02

    You look at it

We send you a link. It is your actual site, not a mockup. Look at it on your phone in the truck. Costs you nothing and there is nothing to sign.

  3. 03

    You say yes or no

No is a fine answer and the preview comes down the same day. If it is yes, send us your domain name, or we will get you one.

  4. 04

    It goes live

About 48 hours. We handle the domain, the hosting, the email forwarding, and every change after that. You never log into anything.

Matt Barge, founder of Barge Builds, Austin, Texas
Who builds it

You are working with me, not a call center.

I am Matt Barge. I build software for a living in Austin, Texas, and I operate a couple of small businesses, which means I have been the guy answering the phone and worrying about where the next call comes from.

When you text the number on this page, it comes straight to my phone. When you ask for a change to your site, I am the one who makes it. If you want to see work I own and operate, look at hoteldilley.com and cityplacebnb.com, both businesses I run. The same systems that build those build these, which is why you can have one without a four-figure invoice and a six-week wait.

What you get

A real site, not a template with your name dropped in.

Your work, front and center

Services you actually offer, in the words your customers use. Your photos. Your service area on a real map.

Your reviews, finally yours

The five-star reviews you earned, pulled onto a page you control instead of sitting on a Google panel.

Built for a phone

Most of your customers will see it on a phone, standing in the room with the problem. Tap to call from anywhere on the page.

Quote requests to your phone

Someone fills out the form, it lands in your text messages and your inbox. No portal, no app, no login.

Findable

Set up to show up when someone searches your trade and your town, with your business details structured the way search engines read them.

We handle it

Hosting, security, updates, and changes. New service, new phone number, new hours: text us and it is done.

Straight answer

You did not ask for this, and that is fair.

Everything on your preview came from your public Google Business Profile: the reviews your customers left, the photos on your listing, your hours, and your address. Nothing private, nothing purchased from anybody.

Your preview is not published and not searchable. Nobody finds it by accident. If you would rather it did not exist, reply to the email and it is gone the same day, no pitch.

Questions

The ones everybody asks.

How did you get my information?

From your public Google Business Profile, the same listing anyone sees when they search your business. Reviews, photos, hours, address, phone. Nothing private and nothing bought from a list broker.

Is this a scam?

Reasonable question. Nothing is asked of you until you have seen a finished website and decided you want it. There is no deposit, no card up front, and no contract. If you want to reach a person first, text the number on this page and you will get Matt, not a queue.

What if I want changes?

Text or email them and they get made. You will never be asked to log into a builder.

Will this get me more jobs?

Honest answer: a website does not create demand. What it does is keep you from being passed over when someone is already comparing you against two competitors, and it gets you onto vendor lists that require one. If somebody promises you a specific number of leads, be careful.

I already have a Facebook page.

That is a start, and you should keep it. It does not show up well in search, it looks personal rather than professional to commercial customers, and you do not control it. Most people want both.

What if I want to leave?

You keep your domain, and we hand over the site files so another developer can pick them up. Nothing is held hostage.

Do I have to keep my current phone number and email?

Yes, everything stays exactly as it is. The site points at the number you already answer.

Next step

Make your site live.

Send your domain, or say you need one and we will handle it. Live in about 48 hours. If you would rather talk first, call or text.

Or skip the form: text (650) 468-7455 and I will answer.

Or call and text Matt directly: (650) 468-7455 · matt@bargebuilds.com
